Danish multi instrumentalist, studio owner and TV host. Owns the Workmen's Hut studio. Son of opera singer Palle Kibsgaard. Took his high school diploma in 1985 at the music line in Sankt Annæ Gymnasium and continued music education at Rytmisk Musikkonservatorium, Copenhagen finishing in 1991 and from 1995 teaching there as well. Kibsgaard has been very active on the danish music scene since then. Besides being member of Danish major league pop group Shu-Bi-Dua (1997 to 2011), replacing Michael Hardinger, he has played as a sideman/studiomusician on more than 150 CD´s . He has also produced several artists such as: Sound of Seduction (DK), Dana la Croix (Canada), Milles (Sweden), Stine Kongsted (DK), Jorn (DK), Michael Boesen (DK), Kaya (DK), Larry Nelson (DK). He has appeared live in several TV-shows and on stage with: Napolion Solo, Lotte Romer, Kaya, Peaches & Bobo, Bamboo Brothers, Morten Remar, Sissel Kyrkeby, Trine Rein, Eva Madsen, Rockers by Choice, Yasmin, Sound of Seduction, Majbritte Ulrikkeholm, You Know Who, Lars Muhl, Aqua, Olsen Brothers, Michael Learns To Rock, Daniel, Al Agami, Stig Kreutzfeldt, Shu-bi-dua, Infernal, Det Brune Punktum, Søren Sko, Dansish Radio Entertainment Orchestra and Danish Radio Symphony Orchestra. In 1997 he became a household name in Denmark as one of the TV hosts in the popular childrens show “Kaj & Andrea”. Prior to that he had also appeared in guitar education shows on TV and DVD.
