Nan Nall

Soprano singer. Nan Nall, from Weston, Vermont, has been soprano soloist for most of the major east coast Bach Festivals including the New England Bach Festival, NYC’s Basically Bach Festival at Lincoln Center, and the Bethlehem Bach Festival. She has performed in Europe with Nikolaus Harnoncourt and with major orchestras in the U.S. including NYC’s Jupiter Symphony, St. Cecilia Orchestra at Carnegie Hall, and the NJ Symphony. She has concertized in Europe, South America, the Far East, and has recorded for the Marlboro Music Festival. A recipient of a NEA Solo Recitalist Grant she premiered many contemporary American vocal works and served on the distinguished panel of judges for the 1987 Carnegie Hall International American Music Competition. She was recently invited to serve as the American vocal judge for The Canadian National Music Competition. Formerly on the voice faculties of Middlebury College and the Brattleboro Music Center, she presently teaches privately in Weston.
