Setia Band is an Indonesian band founded in Bandung, West Java in 2011. However, it was officially established on February 16, 2012. The group was founded by Charly (Vocal) and Pepeng (Guitar). Together with Pepep, Charly Van Houten and Dedy Sudrajat or commonly known as Pepeng, are the frontmen of ST12 (stands for East Station 12, the name of the studio where they usually practice). Two people who have skyrocketed through songs such as "Puspa", "Jangan Pernah Berubah" and "Saat Terakhir" decided to leave the band which has made their name in the Indonesian music scene, due to the difference in the band's vision with Pepep. In early 2012 they again formed a band called Setia which refers to the name of their fanbase when they were still members of the ST 12 band. With only 2 members, namely Charly (Vocal) and Pepeng (Guitar), but then added new members, Alsa (drummer) and Tsha (bassist). The hit single on the debut album of Setia Band is "Jangan Ngarep". Their debut album, Satu Hati was released in 2012. However, in 2013, Alsa separated from Setia Band due to the problem of honorarium fee he received from the management of the Setia Band. Since joining Charly and Pepeng in Setia in 2011, Alsa's status is only an 'additional drummer', not a permanent band member. Until now, Alsa has only replaced the position left by Pepep, the previous drummer. Then in 2014, Anton Widiastanto who is a former drummer for the famous musical group Sheila on 7 was asked to join the Setia Band even though his status was only as an additional drummer.
