Michael Maye

Rock and roll bassist from Washington DC. Maye was active in the Washington rock music scene and also spent several years playing music in Austin, Texas. Maye died at his home in Falls Church, Virginia in September 1997, age 45. Maye was an original member of Evan Johns & The H-Bombs and he also performed with Danny Gatton, the Starland Vocal Band, Billy Hancock, Danny Morris, Johnny and the Headhunters, Jimmy and the Blue Dogs, Ballad Shambles and other groups.
