Doo wop - soul - rhythm n' blues vocal quartet from New Jersey. Started their career in 1956. Sidney Barnes was a key figure for the build-up of Motown repertoire in New York. Do NOT confuse with the doo wop group from Detroit, MI, Serenaders (9). Group consisted of original group leader George Kerr, Sidney Barnes, Timothy Wilson, Howard Curry, Luke Gross and on "if your heart says yes" ONLY one Eddie Kendricks from the Temptations
