Linda Tuvås

Swedish Operatic soprano singer. Born 12 januari 1970 in Farsta. She was educated at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and made her debut at Drottningholm's Palace Theater in 1993. At the Gothenburg Opera, Tuvås has played the roles of Blanche in Poulenc's Carmelite Sisters, Mimi in Puccini's La Bohème, Micaëla in Bizet's Carmen and Zerlina in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Don Gio . She has also sung the title role as the child in Maurice Ravel's Child and the Ghosts at the Royal Opera in Stockholm. Linda Tuvås has participated in the international Glyndebourne Festival and had roles at the Welsh National Opera and at the Opera in Lyon.
