Swedish musician (clarinetist, organist, flutist) and composer, born 12 December 1942 in Högalid parish, Stockholm, died 13 March 2015 in Prague (registered in Högalid parish, Stockholm). Bergman graduated from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm in 1966. After being a member of Jan Rohde's The New Wild Ones, he was a member of the bands Quints (which appears on the 1967 released album Zingotoppen), Atlantic Ocean and Fläsket brinner. In 1970, together with Bo Anders Persson, he was the initiator of the first Gärdesfesterna. In 1974, Bergman released the solo album Lyckohjulet (Gump 6) produced by Anders Burman, which also features guitarist Bengt Dahlén and bassist Per Bruun, both from Fläsket Brinner, keyboardist Christer Bjernelind from Archimedes' bathtub and drummer Thomas Mera Gartz from Träd, Gräs och Stenar. He also appeared on music albums by Bo Hansson and Cornelis Vreeswijk, among others. Bergman was also active as a composer and musician for the Riksteatern and Stockholm City Theater in the 1970s and 80s.
