Об исполнителе:
Unconventionally fitting the mold of heavy music, Atala has been surprising crowds with their soundwaves for half a decade. After funneling a couple of band member changes, the finalized line-up consists of Kyle Stratton on guitar and vocals, Dave Horn on bass, and Jeff Tedtaotao on drums. The band has created several albums. The first is a self-titled release, produced by Scott Reeder (Kyuss, Fireball Ministry). Shaman's Path of the Serpent and Labyrinth of Ashemedai were both produced by Billy Anderson, who's worked with bands such as Sleep, Pallbearer, and High on Fire. The band has been recognized for their music and work ethic. Through their perseverance and grit, they have managed to find themselves on some of the most premier music festivals that call to heavy music. They have played festivals such as The Maryland Doomfest, The New England Doom and Stoner Fest, SX Stoner Jam, and Roadburn all the way in Tilburg, Netherlands. Atala has shared the stage with acts such as The Obsessed, Baroness, Pallbearer, Coven, Chelsea Wolfe, and many more. The Californians of the Hi-Desert have gained tremendous critical acclaim since their inception. New Noise Magazine adds that Atala's music is "grit-laced sludge inspired by their barren and often oppressive desert backdrop." The Obelisk states Labyrinth of Ashemedai "immerses the listener in (a) nodding groove and fluidly executes a deceptive precision in building an arc of momentum that carries across the entire span." The band continues to create and crush wherever they traverse to. In July of 2018, the band has entered the studio, expecting another full album release by early 2019. From humble beginnings to critically acclaimed written content, Atala is a force to be reckoned with.
