The Family Idiot (name taken from Sartre's novel) is a five-member band which was founded in 2012 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Although the band had already been together for six years as a post-rock band (under a different name), they have evolved into a post-punk/indie rock band. They have performed in various gigs since the beginning of 2013.
