A well-known llanera music artist in the central region has been Víctor Querales, who from the moment of the appearance of his first album in 1988 managed to delve into the taste and preference of the public who loves national folklore. He was born in Duaca, Lara state, settling his family in the city of Maracay in the 70s, which is why he considers himself a son of the Aragua state. This young figure endowed with a great talent and particular style began in that Maracay from the eighties where there were various show rooms. As we said, his first production is made in 1988 for the label "Paso Real" where he achieves the imposition of the hit "Atado a ti" that would sound nationally, catapulting him to the footsteps of the great folklore. In 1990, he made the second production for the company "Discorona", which would also have approval from the company. Cachilapo could not miss the opportunity to produce a record for such a figure and that is how in 1994 it became the novelty of the record label. His album "Smile" (LPC-77187) goes on sale in mid-1994 with wonderful results. The greatest hit is "Los bajiticos", a hit by the poet Manuel Nadiel that still continues playing on the radio today.
