Hans Leip

Hans Leip was a German novelist, poet, playwright and composer. During World War 1 he wrote the lyrics of the song "Lili Marleen". Born: 22 September 1893 in Hamburg, German Empire Died: 6 June 1983 (89 years old) in Fruthwilen, Switzerland Not to be confused with Norbert Schultze who composed the music of the song "Lili Marleen" in 1938.
