Nune Melikian

Nuné Melikian (b. 1991) is an Armenian-Russian violinist; currently based between New York City and Montréal. She was born in Siberia and began playing the violin at six. Melikian attended the Gnessin Music College (2001–2008) in Moscow, continuing her studies at the Moscow Conservatory. Nune won a full two-year scholarship at the Université de Montréal, graduating in 2011 with her Master's degree at twenty, becoming the youngest recipient in the University's history. She pursued a Doctor's degree at McGill University. Since 2015, she has played the 1750 violin by Carlo Ferdinando Landolfi.
