Bad Light Project

Bad Light Project was an alternative hard rock based in Williamsport PA. Lasting from 1999-2001, they received some media recognition and airplay, with the song "So It's The Year 2000, Where's My Flying Car?" getting the most notice. The band was fronted by Ron Fleeger, then just out of high school and a disciple of science fiction, grunge bands, classic rock, and REM. Their lyrics are a good glimpse into the student mind at the end of the grunge era. Their one full-length album was produced by Johnny J. Blair and engineered by Richard Rupert. Bill Laswell cameo'd on one song (effects, keyboards).
