The Mad Doctor is a rapper, producer, and occasional DJ and keyboardist hailing from Chicago, Illinois. Possessing a deep love for the hip-hop culture that began since he was very young, his mindstate as a musician is to always stay true to the game, be yourself, and never sacrifice your art for materialistic things. With a lyrical and production style reminiscent of the old school, the Mad Doctor’s goal is to provide his listeners with raw, dope beats and down-to-earth, truthful, sometimes humorous lyrics, and make sure each new release always brings something stylistically different to the table. When he’s on the mic, his topics include politics, social issues, relationships, friendships, and of course, his stances on hip-hop and the ever shady music industry.
