Note: This page is for the Danish PERSON dk (= Kristian Lilholt). For the corresponding BAND use dk (18). The first dk release (1984) was basically a Kristian Lilholt band project. But due the brother Lars Lilholt's success and an idea that two Lilholt's on the Danish music scene was a bad idea, the album was released with the artist name dk. There is no clear evidence for dk being purely (1) a band, (2) a music project by Kristian Lilholt or (3) an alias for Kristian Lilholt. On the first release Man Kan Ikke Gemme Solen Under En Sten (1984) and the related single Et Sted I Verden, dk appears mostly as a Kristian Lilholt-alias crediting dk as both composer, lead vocalist and one of the musicians - and with Kristian Lilholt as producer. The second release Der Er Et Yndigt Land (1985) appears more like a band or a project with no credits for dk - and Kristian Lilholt credited as both composer and one of the musicians. On the 2006 CD Her Og Langt Væk, an album including all tracks from the dk albums, Kristian Lilholt is credited for all the former dk credits.
