Aly Wassil

Born April 6, 1930, in Pakistan, Aly Wassil had minor roles in several films including "King of the Kyber Rifles" (1953), "The Rains of Ranchipur" (1955), "I Spy" (1965), "Move" (1970), eventually playing the character Maharishi Gupta Pradesh in the 1977 psychological horror drama film "Audrey Rose." He was a graduate of Harvard, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and the University of California, eventually authoring several books, including "The Wisdom of Christ," "Rubiyat of Modern Man," "Song of the Saviour," and "Dear Mr. President: An Open Letter to Richard Milhous Nixon." He was also known to tour the lecture circuit, speaking on religious and spiritual topics.
