Beppi Zancan

Italian journalist, writer, painter and jazzman, born February 14, 1936 in Turin, north west of Italy. He graduated in jurisprudence with Norberto Bobbio, of which he was an assistant. After moving to Milan, he met Arrigo Polillo, director of the magazine "Musica Jazz" and director of the staff of Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, who appreciated his skills as a musician and recognized his creative talent, and wanted him with him as an advertising and creative. From this period, in 1967, his first personal exhibition of engravings, ordered at the "Galleria L'Arte Antica" in Turin. In 1975 he was entrusted with the direction of "Il Mago", one of the most important Italian comic magazines. At the end of the nineties he published two novels "La gatta Miomao" e "La balbuzie di Bobbio". Died on 7 June 2016 in Turin.
