The Masmorra band was born in 1.995. They are: Ed Avelino - lead vocals, Renato Baraldi - lead and rhythm guitar, Valdir (Lobão) Barbosa - bass guitar and Sérgio B. Teixeira - drums. The band develop an own job with english lyrics and a Heavy Metal, with a strong Thrash Metal influences. They have some albums. One of them, a CD collection called "ROCK SOLDIERS VOL II" from Pelotas city, Rio grande do Sul, Brazil. The group recorded two tracks (Rock's my life) and (Black Future). Another live one, called "LIVE IN B.C." with eleven live tracks extracted from the opening show of Wizards group in Bebedouro city, São Paulo, Brazil; and the third one recorded in 2003 "REMAINS FROM A LAND" with seven tracks. The group have already been well released and praised in some Rock Magazines pages around the Country. In 2004 gigging through Europe (see the article extracted the magazine below) "It's impressive how the level of national productions are making better during the time. This is one more wonderful demo-CD to listen to. When I report about levels, it's better to get explicit that the main of all, obviously, is the competence of the bands and the Masmorra is one more grateful surprise. First quality in the Heavy Metal songs like that kind very heavy, very drawl and the guys are fucking dare. They recorded two studio tracks mixed with two live tracks and keep the quality of sound".
