Betty Allan

American vocalist, born in Missouri but relocated to Los Angeles at an early age. Allan studied at UCLA, and joined a vocal trio called The Rhythmettes soon after graduation, under the name Betty Bruce. She also sang with a quartet, The Girl Friends, along with Norma Zimmer and others. She sang backing vocals for such names as Bing Crosby, Dinah Shore, Milton Berle, Bob Hope, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, and also performed on film soundtracks, and musical cartoons.
