St. Joseph's Of Batavia

Saint Joseph‘s of Batavia, formed in 1931, was a junior Drum & Bugle Corps based in Batavia, New York. They were sponsored by St. Joseph‘s Catholic Church, American Legion Post 332 and the Batavia VFW Post 1602. The corps’ colors were green, black, and white. Awards included 1963 New York State American Legion Championships, 1963-65 New York State VFW Championship, 1965-70 NY American Legion State championship, and the 1963-65 New York-Penn Association Championship. The corps also sponsored an annual contest in June. Saint Joseph’s last year of competition was 1971 when they were disqualified for marching an overage member. An alumni corps was marching in 1991.
