The Margins

The Margins is a creation of ideas and events which have affected all of us and are going to do so in the future. Story of The Margins (Slovenia) began in 2016. Aljaž Gyurica (vocals, electric guitar), Luka Ščavničar (bass guitar, back vocals) and Jože Horvat (drums) were already musically collaborating and creating original music when they got the tendency to expand the band. They invited guitarist Patrik Jambrošić from surroundings of Čakovec (Croatia) to join them. The chemistry between them was immediately palpable, the borders were moved for the first time - the band was no longer only Slovenian but international. The name of The Margins was born in this spirit. With additional guitar they confirmed their theory that the borders have fallen. Their songs gained greater wideness and sharper distortion, as well as becoming At the beginning of autumn 2017, a debut album “Bella Insania” was released, featuring first three singles “Red”, “That’s Gonna Happen” and “Continental”. For second and third singles videos were shot. The band are rooted in rock and indie but also bring in grunge and alter focus. Limits are falling, sharp edges remain!
