Swedish musician (electric guitar) and music technician, born December 13, 1948 in Gamlestaden, Gothenburg. In 1967, he formed one of Sweden's first pure blues bands, Gin House, which, among other things, acted as support for Jimi Hendrix at his 1969 Liseberg concert. After that he was a member of the prog band Nynningen in the 1970s, later in Totta's Bluesband. He has also played with the Nationalteatern, Mats Ronander, Ola Magnell, Björn Afzelius, Mikael Wiehe, Ulf Dageby and others, and participated in various radio and TV productions, for example as a temporary member of Kurt Olsson's Damorkester (1988). He has also participated in some hobby projects, such as "Varmare än kôrv" and "Hot'n'Tots". In 1988, Blomgren and others in Totta's band toured with Ron Wood. He has also been a member of Göran Samuelsson's well-known "Packmopedsturné" for several years together with Bengt Bygren. Blomgren's influences come mainly from Chicago and musicians like Muddy Waters and Luther Johnson as well as from the British 60s and musicians like Eric Clapton.
