José Luis Valderrama

Spanish pianist, keyboard player, composer and singer. He received musical training at the Real Conservatorio Superior de Música in Madrid. Subsequently he expanded his studies at the Berklee College of Music of Boston, USA, where he graduated in composition and jazz arrangements with the highest honors Summa Cum Laude. He has been director of the Adolfo Salazar Conservatory (Madrid) and in 2008 he was responsible for implementing the jazz profile in professional music studies. At present he is a accompaniment professor and the subjects that make up the jazz profile: jazz composition, jazz ensemble and American encryption. Member of the Spanish band Célula in the 70's.
