Paul Mann

Austrian / American pianist and composer who wrote more than 50 musical compositions. From 1928 he was a member of the "Korngold Minstrel Jazzband" (together with Paul Schlesinger and Ralph Erwin among others) and worked as a composer for films in Berlin until 1933. He emigrated to the USA somewhen between 1936 and 1938. In Europe and in he US, he often worked with Stephan Weiss. b. Sep. 3, 1910, in Vienna, Austria. d. May 27, 1983, Fresh Meadows, Queens, NY.
