Davis started out as a rock 'n' roller in New York, then moved to Berlin in the early 1980s, where he reinvented himself as new wave punk electro-pop act, fitting in perfectly with the more pop oriented end of the Neue Deutsche Welle scene. He has worked with Joy Ryder.
