Neal Ramsay is a concert saxophonist who has toured nationally as a Columbia Artist and has performed five concerts as a soloist in Carnegie Hall, including a three-concert Carnegie Hall Series that celebrated the 150th anniversary of the saxophone's invention. Ramsay has also performed at the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and on National Public Radio. He has been awarded grants from the National Endowment of the Arts and the Kellogg Foundation. A winner of the Tennessee Arts Commission Competition for Outstanding Solo Artists, Ramsay also specializes in arranging, composing, and recording. Ramsay studied with conductor/oboist Mitch Miller and saxophonist Vincent Abato and is a graduate of George Peabody College and The University of North Texas.
