Chefir

Also known as Чефир aka Саша Чеф. Rapper and beatmaker from Zaporizhia, Ukraine. Born 22 April 1983. His father perished when he was 3, so his mother raised him and his sister alone. In his childhood he studied in musical school in violin, but at the age of 13 he became interested in hip-hop. He took part in bands such as «Блок Питания». At the age of 17 he suddenly turned to religion, and started visiting Свет Пробуждения church (International Gospel Center). He became a member of Christian hip-hop movement «3хМАФИЯ» (ЗХМ). When it disbanded, he became a member of a group called Gospel People, for which he became a beatmaker & sound producer.
