Disco_bobulated aka Chino3 has been active in New York’s underground dance culture for over four (4) decades. A prolific graffiti artist and a b-boy hailing from Manhattan's lower east side (he shows up in film and mini-documentaries too; DBC3 was an extra in The Warriors, and dancer for a classic hip-hop cult pilot show call "Grafitti Rock" hosted by Michael Holman, extras also included Debbie Mazar & Vince Gallo. Vince being the one who scouted him for the pilot. He also makes multiple appearances in Maestro, a 2003 documentary about underground dance movement focusing on the Paradise Garage and The Loft). Eventually, he moved from the dance floor to the booth, spinning records as Disco-bobulated and C3. He’s got a truly enviable collection of wax and recently co-launched Made in NY, a record label specializing in edits from local DJs and collectors.
