1933 - Born on the 25th of September in Sheffield, England. 1935 - The family migrated to Australia and settled in Berrima, NSW. Pat learnt the guitar and formed a group called the “Campus Cowboys” with Trevor Seimes and Nick Graham. 1950 - Moved to Sydney and took a job as a clerk. His guitar playing had developed and was recognised among the country music entertainers. He backed a number of artists on their recordings, including Slim Dusty, the McKean Sisters, Glen Davis, Jacqueline Hall and Jimmy Little. Was part of the “Jimmy Little Trio” for a number of years with Alan Jirst. Pat worked with a number of artists as lead guitarist- Trevor Day, Kevin King, Nola Hirst, Rex Dallas and many more. Mid 1960’s Pat gave up the guitar and shortly after moved to Tamworth where he bought a farm. He became involved in radio with his program “Old Time Country Corner” on 2TM. He continued to write songs which have been recorded by a number of artists. 1994 - Inducted into the Hands of fame. 2014 - Passed away on October 27th.
