Brave New World were a Metal Band formed in 1989, based out of Oklahoma featuring Robt Ptak of Size 14 on lead vocals The band released one album 'Maturity Is A High Price To Pay For Growing Up' in 1989 on Perfect Tommy Records, as a popular local act the band opened for major artists such as Warrant, Faster Pussycat, Billy Idol. The band's line up was: Robt Ptak- Lead vocals and Songwriter Kevin Jeffries - Bass Guitar Michael J Miles - Guitar and Co writer Eric Myers - Drums Post Brave New World, singer Robt Ptak went onto have a successful career in the music industry. From 1995-1997 Robt went onto co-found Los Angeles Pop Punk band 'Size 14' who signed to major label Volano Records, finding success with songs featuring on major motion pictures Dude's Where's My Car, Sugar & Spice and 100 Girls. During this time Robt also toured with The Wallflowers as their bassist from 1996-97. Post Size 14 career, In 1997 Ptak went on to form his own bands 'Artificial Joy' + "Bastard Kings of rock' he took on lead vocal duty again and later managing Bloc Party side project 'Pin Me Down'. Jeffries, Miles & Myers from 1990-1996 went onto form 'For Love Not Lisa' who were signed to East West Records and Tooth & Nail Records.
