Edgar "Artek606" Sinio is a Filipino American Music Producer, Sound Engineer, Actor, Producer, and D.J. Born on January 3, 1975 in Chicago, Illinois. He started DJing at the young age of 11 and progressed into making music not too long after. During the 90's he was a DJ in the International Rave and Chicago Undergound scene traveling to different cities and countries under the DJ name B:pm and Projekt:pm. Artek was also the producer and co-founder of the Chicago Hip Hop group The Pacifics. in 1996 Artek produced House Music released the legendary Guidance Recordings and Crucial Sounds Label under the name Projekt:p.m. From 1998 to 2019, he founded and promoted 606 Entertainment Tuesdays at a venue called Subterranean in Chicago. It became the longest running weekly Hip Hop open mic night that ran for 21 years. In 2011 he moved to Los Angeles, California producing and engineering music for different Artists, Television, and Motion Picture. Currently Artek is working alongside Apl.de.Ap, Taboo, J.Rey, Jesse Lives, Natalie Orfilia, Baby Soling, and many other young up and coming artists.
