Born in Carmarthen, West Wales Mark’s dream as a young boy was to become a chef until that is, he was discovered by the great Sir Geraint Evans. Trained at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and at the National Opera Studio in London Mark has sung on many of the prestigious opera stages. He is well recognised for his rich warm Italianate voice, his charm and charisma. His immense stage presence is clearly evident when performing any one of a variety of title roles such as Don Giovanni, the loveable Papageno in The Magic Flute and the rugged Marcello. Mark’s debut album reached the top 10 in the UK classical charts. ‘Tell my Father’ performed with the Band of the Welsh Guards became a number one in the UK, benefitting the Welsh Guards Afghanistan Appeal. Nick Patrick, Grammy Award Winning producer created Marks next album ‘This Guy’s In Love’ featuring a wonderfully intimate selection of songs highlighting the “velvety tones of this magnificent baritone.
