Moravian-Austrian lawyer and composer (June 3, 1872 in Brno – died August 20, 1924 in Vienna) Ehrlich, who around 1900 changed his last name to Ehrich, was a Hauptmann-Auditor (head accountant) in the Reichsregierungsministerium (the Austro-Hungarian Imperial Government Ministry) in Vienna. Ehrlich composed songs for the comic theater, but also marches and Viennese songs (Wienerlieder). Among his works are "17er Jägermarsch" (op. 7), "Rêverie u. Humoreske" (op. 10, 1894), "Lebemänner-Marsch" (1898), "Stiefelputzermarsch" (= Bootblack March, op. 44, 1904), Resi! (Was hast denn du für einen Hut?) (op. 65, 1909).
