Tommy Borgudd was a Swedish drummer and Formula One driver who raced for the ATS and Tyrrell teams. He was born 25 November 1946 in Borgholm, Öland, Sweden, and died 23 February 2023 in the UK after a period of sickness. Also known as Slim Borgudd. He was a member of several Swedish pop and rock bands during the 1960s and 1970s, including Lea Riders Group, Made In Sweden and Solar Plexus. He also worked with Björn Ulvaeus in Hootenanny Singers and on a few ABBA studio sessions. In the 1960s, he became involved with motor racing, later winning the Swedish Formula Ford and Formula 3 Championships, in 1973 and 1979. He raced in Formula One in 1981 (for ATS, carrying ABBA sponsorship) and 1982 (for Tyrrell). He then made the switch to touring cars and truck racing, winning the European Truck Racing Cup three times. He later lived in England, where he was a development driver and salesman for Radical Sportscars.
