Об исполнителе:
Disco trio formed in 1978, San Francisco. Recorded two albums. Dale Reed, an east coast musician who had his first taste of popularity as part of the 1968 collective known as the American Blues Exchange, was the brains behind the sound. The seminal disco figures -dj's and later owners of Megatone Records, Marty Blecman and John Hedges helped them prociding the outlet for Dale Reed's first outing. Their first release was the Motown cover "Standing In The Shadows Of Love". "Beat Of The Night" was their seminal disco single featuring the synthesizer styles of Patrick Cowley that would be the leading proponents of the early 80's hi-NRG disco sound. By 1979 Fantasy was in financial trouble and with the impending death of disco there were no further Fever releases. Dennis Wadlington went on to producer Sylvester's "Call Me" and in the 1990's-2000's arranging and producing Lenny Williams, Juanita Wynn and Robbie Young among others. Joseph "Joe" Bomback dropped out of sight only to resurface in the new millennium in the world music market. Dale Reed resurfaced in the 1990's mostly as a producer of mixed-disco cd's and joined with old friend Wadlington on the Juanita Wynn project.
