Cardiff-born Hip Hop musician, MOBO Awards unsung semi-finalist and Welsh Music Award-winning artist, Johnny B. A remnant of a pre-internet underground rap scene in the UK, renowned as "one of the pioneering Cardiff Hip Hop artists, who helped kick-start Welsh Hip Hop into the spotlight" noted for his high-energy live performances and various vinyl releases, including collaborations on records with champion turntablist DJ Keltech. Johnny Burgess (born in April, 1976) is a British MC, songwriter and record producer - who grew up in the St Mellons district and suburb of southeastern Cardiff, the capital city of Wales. Johnny B, has supported live on stage some of Hip-Hop's greatest legends including; Ice-T, Grand Master Flash, Africa Bambaataa, Rodney P (London Posse) to name just a few, and has performed at numerous music events, club nights and festivals across the board, with live performances at various radio stations, including a live studio session on BBC Radio 1 with Huw Stephens and Bethan Elfyn.
