Todd Butler (4)

Singer and musician from Atlanta, Georgia, born in 1962 and died October 2, 2004. Butler formed the band Wee Wee Pole with RuPaul Charles while in high school. He went on to start Opal Foxx Quartet with Benjamin Smoke, which became the band Smoke. In the early 1990s he formed the country band Ratchet Set with guitarist Jon Byrd, Butler attended Georgia State University and received a degree in fine art in the late 1990s. By the 2000s, he was increasingly incapacitated by the effects of Behcet's Disease.
