杵渕一郎

Ichirō Kinefuchi. Born August 28, 1903. Died 1968. Japanese singer and producer. Joined Teichiku Records in 1935 and worked as a singer under the name 杵淵一朗 (Ichirō Kinefuchi). He retired from singing in 1937 when he was called up for military service. After being discharged from the army in 1940, he was in charge of producing min'yo records for Teichiku Records until the 1960s.
