Brady Hughes (2)

Austin, Texas musician and songwriter, born in May 1965 and died in February 2018. Hughes was born in Houston, Texas and grew up in San Antonio, Laredo and El Paso. Hughes began playing music in high school in a band called The Colours and in 1985 moved from El Paso to Austin with friend and bandmate Erik Larson (2). Along with Ron McRae, they formed the rock band Johnny Law. After Johnny Law’s first album, Hughes and Larson moved to Atlanta, where they played as the group Peacemaker. They returned to Austin two years later and formed the group Twenty Dollar Vibe. Hughes continued to perform into early 2018, including solo shows, Johnny Law reunions and the group Bird And The Early Worms.
