With his own productions such as "My Revolution", mix CDs like "Street Paradise" and party brands like "Night Rockers" at Club Q, the 26-year-old Zurich house DJ has become one of the most popular DJs in the city on the Limmat in recent years. His first solo mix album "Club Idol" is the culmination of a DJ career with a clear upward arrow. The Zurich DJ K-SKILL, born on February 27, 1983 in Argentina (Monte Carlo), came to Switzerland at the age of 7. Between the ages of 13 and 15, he earned his first spurs as a DJ with legendary parties in Zurich's Kreis 3 district. At 15 he discovered house music and a year later he bought his first DJ equipment. From then on, he spent every free minute behind the turntables and his vinyl collection grew unstoppably. He soon became resident DJ at Colonial (now Amber), which was the place to be for young people at the time. Other venues such as Forecast, Zodiac, Diabolo, D-Lite and Velvet followed. Leonardo Colonna, alias DJ Leon Klein, noticed him and hired him at the tender age of 18 for clubs such as Zoo, Säulenhalle, Labor Bar, Next Club and for the legendary "Sweet House" party series in the Supermarket. Shortly afterwards followed the success story of Sex&House, the party label, which also had a mix CD series. "Sex&House Vol.5 & 6" were compiled by K-Skill. In 2004, the Argentinian with Swiss roots founded his own label "Night Groove". Sparkling Night, Rich&Horny, My Style Music and Sex Apeal were the names of the events that successfully took to the stage in various clubs in Zurich. With the event series "Freak Fashion" at Acqua, he landed the biggest hit of the "Night Groove" label. This was followed in 2006 by the first mix compilation in the "Street Paradise" series, which was christened at the Street Parade and was a considerable success. In 2007, he tried his hand at producing and landed a notable underground hit with his first record "My Revolution". The vocals were sung by Swiss rock legend "The Crow". "My Revolution" was then remixed by none other than house guru Andrea Bertolini. The single quickly became a Beatport Top 10 download. In the summer of 2008, Kskill founded the new label "Night Rockers" with Roger (Place2be) and the guys from (NYX), which has now been running successfully for a year at Zurich's In-Club Q with national and international artists such as Backside Artists, Marc Mendez, Matt Caselli, Marc Vedo, Scarlett Etienne, Misstress Barbara, Mr.Mike, JamJaniro, DjSam, David Jimenez, Joe Janell, etc. With the second release "Beautiful Letdown" feat. Diveau and the third release "Peak Time" there is already a small foretaste of what can be expected in his first album. In March 2009, he launched "CLUB IDOL" - a community talent show to find the club entertainer of 2009. The search was for talented entertainers such as MCs, vocalists, dancers, dance groups or personalities who could inspire a whole crowd with their talent in a club. At the same time, the mix CD of the same name, CLUB IDOL, was released on MagnifiqueMusic. With over 2000 records sold and 200 participants, this project was one of the most successful of his career. He is currently working on his first album. One thing is guaranteed: K-Skill will continue to cause a stir and, with his skillful reach into the record case, will be one of the spearheads of Swiss DJ's.
