Te Deum-kuoro

The Te Deum Choir is a Finnish choir started in 1978 as a youth choir for the parish of Tuira, and was conducted from the outset by Pekka Mäntymaa. The choir has specialized mostly in traditional sacred music for mixed choirs and has combined with the Tuiran Kamarikuoro (Tuira Chamber Choir) to perform a number of large-scale works with orchestral accompaniment. The Te Deum Choir has given concerts in varous parts of Finland and in the Soviet Union, Sweden and Federal Germany.
