Clare Thompson

British violinist and violin teacher. Prize-winning student at the Royal Academy of Music. Principal 2nd chair of the English Chamber Orchestra. No.3 First Violin of the Philharmonia Orchestra. Longstanding professor at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. She has been appointed to the Junior Department of the Royal Academy of Music where she was made an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) in recognition of her services to music.
