Valéria Barros (Uberlândia, June 6, 1968) is a Brazilian singer and songwriter, mainly dedicated to the Sertanejo genre. Diva of the modões, the Sertaneja singer Valéria Barros has one of the most striking voices and unmistakable timbre of national music. Consecrated as one of the most important female figures in the last decades in the country scene, Valéria Barros started in music at the age of 9 and became nationally known for being part of the duo As Mineirinhas.
