Malcolm Johnston

British classical violist and educator. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK. He studied at the Royal Scottish Academy Of Music And Drama and the Royal Academy of Music. He spent some time in the United States in the 1990s, where he became a member of The Amernet Quartet for four years. In 1996, he returned to England and became the Sub-Principal Violist with the London Symphony Orchestra. He holds the position of Professorial Staff-Viola at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
