Travy Remmert

b. Washington, D.C. March 3, 1957. d. Boerne, Texas February 4, 2010 He had many interests, first and foremost he had a deep love and talent for music and recording. He was a gifted musician and owned Meridian Productions Recording Studio. Another great interest of Travy's was astronomy. He would spend hours in his observatory studying and photographing deep space and took many trips to New Mexico and Northern California to confer with fellow astronomers. Travy learned to fly early in his life, and although did not fly for many years, always loved everything to do with aviation. His most recent passion was the creation of The Remmert Theater at Saint Mary's Hall School. He worked tirelessly and gave generously to see this project realized. The theater is a state of the art venue for the performing arts. Travy was an intense and driven soul and a creative and complicated person.
