Marjo Smolander

Finnish kantele player, folk vocalist, songwriter, and music pedagogue, born in 1986 in Rääkkylä. Her music is rooted in the Finnish musical tradition, and she has studied folk music, world music, and music pedagogy. She has two master degrees: one in Folk music from Sibelius-Akatemia (Finland) and another in Global music from Royal Academy Of Music, Aarhus.
