Mamour Ba

Experienced musician, composer and multi-instrumentalist, the Senegalese Mamour Ba had his musical initiation in the African roots alongside renowned artists and academic training at the Dakar School of Art in Senegal and the University of Versailles in France. Since then, I have united your classic and root experience to build your musical universe. His first CD / album, "O Poder do Rítmo", composed of 08 tracks and which has the participation of his son, Cheikh Ba, shows a small part of this universe. It is a spiritual work, intuitive and innovative. They are tracks that involve the traditional rhythms and traces of contemporary music. The remarkable presence of the drums, the dialogue between the instruments, the pitches of jazz, the smoothness of the harmonies and the electronic traits, are characteristic of this work.
