Donald Dowdy

American left-handed bluegrass mandolin player, singer and songwriter. Died July 8, 2021 at the age of 34 from a heart attack. Youngest son of Victor Dowdy. Brother of Steve Dowdy. Nephew of Robert Dowdy. Dowdy and his brother Steven formed The Dowdy Brothers after family band The Bluegrass Brothers retired. Dowdy was living in Vinton, VA, when he passed.
