Golden Mean (3)

The duo Golden Mean is comprised of Sabisha Friedberg and Tyler Wilcox. Both Sabisha and Tyler are artists from the tradition of Experimental Music. Both are independent composers and producers. They met in 2012 and began a dialogue concerning music of many cultural traditions, Occidental, African, and Eastern, ancient and contemporary. In this discussion, they were made aware of each other’s passion for dance culture also and its relationship to states of ‘transcendence’. This notion and how to endeavor to create work with this potential led to their current collaboration.
