Mazy was borned in the north of Sweden in 1977 and moved to Stockholm when she was 13. When she appeared on the "Alla talar svenska" compilation in 1998 she became the first female mc in history that had rapped and released anything in Swedish. But Mazy decided to focus on writing songs in English instead of Swedish and signed up with the publisher Jimmy Fun. In 2001 Mazy signed off from Jimmy Fun and released the "Beats N Therapy" EP with the Czech underground label Bbarak. Today Mazy lives in London and works as a solo artist. She has appeared on several compilations and mixtapes in Sweden and Europe and the interest for her music keeps growing. Her lyrics has been printed in books as "Ord fran Moder Svea" and she has been holding lectures about rap and rhyme writing at Kulturhuset and Fryshuset in Stockholm.
